Advertisement Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Hi hdg, Take a look here Iceland > Eldja Region . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
gareth_c Posted August 18, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 18, 2006 Beautiful. They look like paintings. The colour, light and detail is superb. Well done.
jmr Posted August 18, 2006 Share #3 Posted August 18, 2006 Hans, good shots all. Very unusual textures you've achieved, rather appealing.
stuny Posted August 18, 2006 Share #4 Posted August 18, 2006 hans - These are even better than the other ones, which I admired greatly. These take on a dream-like, other-worldly quality from the way you've captured the light and the apparant softness amid the stark land.

leicamann Posted August 24, 2006 Share #8 Posted August 24, 2006 Wow..nice set.. some of your images tend to shift towards the yellow spectrum... I believe that was the tendancy of the first firmware version? Thanks for sharing Regards, Leicamann:)
hdg Posted August 24, 2006 Author Share #9 Posted August 24, 2006 No, it was not! I am using V 1.2 without any problems (exepted with my Epson P 2000). The surface of the montains are covered with Lichen islandicus. Depending on the humidity of the ground the color is light green, yellowish, later switching over to brown and at last to white. In spring there are montains with sunny yellow colors. It seems the sun is shining but it rains. Regards Hans
krabat Posted August 24, 2006 Share #10 Posted August 24, 2006 My favourite is #2, and the other two are also amazing. I am wondering where the water in #3 is going to? Best regards, Peter.
firoze Posted August 24, 2006 Share #11 Posted August 24, 2006 Hans, these are superb photos. Congrats! I've been to Iceland myself and know what it looks like, quite unlike any other place on Earth. Took some photos myself but none nearly as good as these. But maybe I'll post them here anyway sometime. Hope to see more of your work. Regards.
