I do that from time to time but not around others that may bump it and knock it over.
williamj Posted December 4, 2023 Share #1504 Posted December 4, 2023 I've seen Thorsten Overgaard do it too in his videos. I don't worry about the camera but I do wonder about the mechanicals in the lens.
Hell Posted December 5, 2023 Share #1505 Posted December 5, 2023 Thanks for the point towards Thorsten Overgaard. He's quite bumpy bumpy with his kit, isn't he? Maybe I should be less precious about my stuff.

Maybe, at some time, a solution for my M4P in black chrome.

S/W Posted September 22, 2024 Share #1513 Posted September 22, 2024 Since the release of the Leica M6 2022, I have gone over and over in my mind whether it is really worth exchanging my M6 TTL (0.58) for the new model. After it was suggested here in the forum that if the light meter breaks, there is no longer any possibility of repair and I also got this more or less (but not directly) confirmed during a visit to the Customer Care and the Leica dealer made me a very interesting exchange offer, I have now done it: Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! What a feeling to hold a brand new Leica M6 in my hands, which as a photo-obsessed student (1986) I had wanted so much (I had bought the Leica M6 TTL (0.58) new in 2004 as a young family man as a discontinued model for a very, very reasonable price by today's standards). My wife encouraged me to do the swap again and was also there when I bought it yesterday. Now I am very proud of both: my wife and the Leica M6 2022 😄
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! M9reno Posted October 30, 2024 Share #1519 Posted October 30, 2024 Lovely patina, which looks like the real thing, not the artificial kind.
