Diane Arbus?

Wilfredo,

A very nice portrait of someone doing whatever is necessary to earn a living. It is nice to see that he is succeeding at it from the look of his money baskets.

The black of the blacks and the white of the whites in this are what I strive for and are escaping me at the moment, yours are excellent. I really like how the light in this is reflecting off of the white tiles.

Thank you all for looking and giving such encouraging feedback.

Vic, you were keen to notice the cropping. As you pointed out Arbus worked mostly with a twin lens reflex Rollieflex. I was wondering if anyone would pick-up on that :-)

Stuart, don't be timid about playing with the contrast tool in PS, that's a major factor in getting good whites and blacks, that's mostly how I do it.

I really enjoy shoting in New York, it has a wealth of subjects. Southern California is a bit boring in comparison.

Cheers,

Wilfredo+
