Dr. G Posted November 4, 2022 Share #1 Â Posted November 4, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) I need a very nice looking bag to carry the SL2-s with one APO Summicron SL prime attached for when I go to formal events. Â It seems the Oberwerth Louis may just fit the SL2-S plus the 35 APO Summicron SL mounted. Â I haven't seen the bag in person, but going by the internal dimensions it may be a little tight but should work. Â Anyone try it?
Advertisement Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 Hi Dr. G, Take a look here Oberwerth Louis for M11 - will an SL2-S with 35 APO SL fit?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
bherman01545 Posted November 4, 2022 Share #2 Â Posted November 4, 2022 If you are looking for a small-ish, nice-looking bag to fit the SL2-S and either a prime or the 24-90 zoom and some memory cards/batteries, I like the Billingham SL2 bag. It is well-padded, nice looking and pretty much waterproof. -Brad

cwcltd Posted November 4, 2022 Share #4  Posted November 4, 2022 SL2-S with 35 SL Summicron fits very nicely into the Billingham Digital. https://billingham.co.uk/products/hadley-digital-camera-bag_colour-sage-fibrenyte-chocolate-leather
Jeff S Posted November 4, 2022 Share #5  Posted November 4, 2022 FWIW, my SL2 with 24-90 fits perfectly lengthwise in my 20 year old Fogg b-laika (without dividers), which is smaller than the current version. In all-black, it’s a fairly discreet yet stylish bag (mine is also well worn).  I tried the much, much larger Oberwerth Porto (now replaced by their SL2 bag, I think) to hold a full SL2 kit with zooms, but found it too heavy and too rigidly structured for my taste. I replaced it with a Billingham Hadley One, all black, which better suits my preferences. A smaller Billingham, as others note, could be a good alternative option. hoolyproductions Posted November 9, 2022 Share #6  Posted November 9, 2022 I have an Oberwerth Boulevard Tablet that I originally bought for my M10 (now sold) and now use for my SL2-S. It can hold the SL2 with a prime lens mounted and another lens on the side. It is a pretty tight fit but it works and is a nice and light set up. With the divider removed it will also fit SL2 with 24-90 mounted (hood reversed). I note that Boulevard tablet has an internal width of 12cm, whereas the bag you are interested in is only 10cm - that might make it too much of a tight fit.
