For someone without the same physical condition as me, what I was writing probably sounded nuts. Actually, it's me who has to thank you, and a few others. Without that discussion, I never would have found the real reason for my issues along with how to correct them - use the Leica as before, but look through the lowest part of my progressive lenses when the subject is close to me. Now it makes sense to me, and my view of other people's eyes is sharp again. I'm happy if in any way this discussion helped you and others. ....and again, I need to thank you.
