stuny Posted September 19, 2007 Share #4 Posted September 19, 2007 Dave - Terrific series for the subjects, light, color, details and angles, However, all of those qualities are superb in #1.
elansprint72 Posted September 23, 2007 Share #5 Posted September 23, 2007 I used to go to school on buses just like those Leylands; they were red with two cream stripes though. Also rode on the Crossville Bristols occasionally too; the steamers were (just) before my time. As usual, great quality shots.
rob_x2004 Posted September 27, 2007 Share #6 Posted September 27, 2007 That DMR does give you absolutely belting files. Think we keep losing sight of the fact that it is an amazing bit of gear.

ddp Posted September 27, 2007 Share #8 Posted September 27, 2007 That DMR does give you absolutely belting files. Think we keep losing sight of the fact that it is an amazing bit of gear. Bingo...and that first image is killer. The DMR is certainly looking to be the dark horse of digital.
andybarton Posted September 27, 2007 Share #9 Posted September 27, 2007 Terrific series, Dave. Good to see you posting again. Funny how many of the M8 users seem to spend all their time moaning about something, while DMR users just get out there taking shots like this
stunsworth Posted September 27, 2007 Share #10 Posted September 27, 2007 Not all of us Andy <grin> Nice shots, like Pete I remember Leyland buses. They were the backbone of the local bus company LUT - or Lancashire United Transport when I was a kid. Their local depot was in between Atherton where I lived and Leigh where I went to school. The open platform at the back was great fun.
