I had seen some shots in strong backlight where is visible a straight line of ghost image. Is the 35 apo suffering aloes in backlight like in the previous 2 post? I am so very late to the party for this one and I noticed other people have already answered, the only instance I really noticed it in images posted by others in this thread right away I know that was finger grease smeared as opposed to properly cleaned on either the lens or the lens filter. Here is a photo bellow straight into the the sun of my youngest son at the cottage a couple of years ago, what really struck me is how well this lens handles flare when shooting against a strong source of light, in the case the sun and fringing in high contrast area (non existent) so it keeps that sharpness and definition in the in focus area without any loss of details because you don't lose the micro contrasts, if this makes any sense. As a high contrast lover, this lens is highly satisfying when shooting into the sun/glare. Had trouble uploading the file on mobile so this is a screenshot of the image. Welcome, dear visitor!
