Awww, what a sweet face on that Newfi!

I grew up with a beautiful Lancier Newfoundland (the black and white breed) named Sir Lancelot du Rhymar. The most wonderful friend a boy could have! Huge and powerful, but as smart, sweet, and gentle as a dog could be. :D

Greens and grays at the Susquehanna State Park - CL with 18-56.  Threatened to rain all the time but there were only sporadic drizzles.

Jack in the pulpit.  TL 35

Evidently Jack and his pulpit decided to replace themselves with red berries. Poison to humans, loved by pheasants and wild turkeys.

Portmeirion. This place is delirious with colour, but for 1960s reasons I've gone for full on disturbing noir.

If you win Number One will no longer be a mystery to you, if you know what I mean. Anyway, I'll introduce you properly and see how you feel after assessing the madding crowd.“

Such a great place, I love Portmeirion, had many happy visits.  I like your thinking, total opposite to me I think, would definitely have been colour here, but b&w always for Blaneau,  probably because I've never seen it on anything but a grey wet day.    Lovely series, seems you are having a nice trip.

Thank you, Jayne! Our first week away in more than 6 months, in a borrowed cottage. I have a project planned around one of the old slate workshops - this is my third visit there - using the my SL2, so I'll have to post in that thread!

I visited Portmeirion four years ago and shot in colour then, with the M240. Here's one from today:
