Shot this in 2007, with a small Pan-Leica attached to a Leica Scope. Just re-discovered it while searching for a new profile photograph. Please excuse the non CL photograph but I thought it would be nice to know if anyone has digi-scoped with a CL.

Made this picture through a Meopta scope with the CL the Leica digiscope 35 mm lens (42308 part number) and the T2/CL adapter ring . Still experimenting to get the best sharpness because the lens has to be adjusted manually for your camera.

This is with the 20x zoom on the Meopta scope.

Regards

Gerd

My kind of street shooting.  Given all the madness around at the moment in towns and cities, yet again reminded how beautiful rural Shropshire is  CL 18-56.

Could use some help, please. I took 28 photographs and this is the only one that is in focus. The other 27 were not even close to being in focus. My CL was set on P, spot focus, auto iso, standard setting.......I used the EVF. After the first 19 I took off the hood and removed the UV filter. Any thoughts ?  I even redid the diopter.

Hard to know what to suggest Albert without knowing more.. could the bug possibly have been moving?  What was the shutter speed/Aperture?

Maybe there was just too much green. I told my wife that perhaps I was going blind.

Could it be wind? The combination of the required small apertures (long exposure times) in close-up photography and wind is difficult to manage. A tripod helps with the former but not with the latter. I often come home with a bunch of out-of-focus outdoor close-up shots despite using a very heavy tripod. A friend once made a video of me while I was trying to focus my Pentax 67 lens on an orchid that was moving with the wind. Very funny to watch ex post...
