Completely agree Dippy, still not totally sure about the Panasonic either.  Anyhow, tree is a Greengage, and I love your family photo's.

Yeah, me too. I’m just going to do the best I can with

the 18-56

and the🤷‍♂️ TL 35.

Even the Panasonic lens looks big! The 90-280 is a monster. I couldn't ever contemplate putting it on my CL, it just defeats the whole purpose of having a smaller, cropped sensor camera.

I agree but I did try it and it makes a very good 420mm - a good tripod is kind of obligatory.

I have a few images - greatly reduced in size - sitting on one of my desktop folders...  Of course I also got excellent results with a 600mm TL Macro which in this case made far more sense because I could get close enough to these flowers.  The hibiscus was shot during a downpour so staying far off under shelter was good - though that's no excuse :-).  That's why god made umbrellas.

Hahah. The original is just a white orb with gold wavelets on a completely black background. So I decided to have some fun.

@Boojay the separation in that second shot is something else! Beautiful. 50 summilux?

Yes, thank you.   I really like the 50 Summilux (M Asph) on the CL, think it was shot at f/2 to get Mommy duck and ducklings in focus.
