No attempt at camouflage here.  Why such a garish colour in nature?

Damn good question. There are multiple theories out there to choose from.  I became exhausted reading most of them🤪🕺🕺

The researchers measured the three fates of visible light incident on a bird’s egg, and compared these fates for a white egg to those for a greenish-blue egg, and found that eggshell color did affect reflectance (R; left column), absorbance (A; middle column), and transmittance (T; right column) of sunlight (figure 4):

Very interesting Albert but where are the results following trials into relative survival?

CL with a 200 f4 Telyt, finally have the adapters in place, then had to go away for work. This is as close as it focuses, f5.6. Liking this lens.

Fantastic capture, Albert! Any chance that if you crop it, it still be sharp?

No, i guess it‘s enough. Otherwise try the 55 - 135

Q

And then your framing and focusing skills will be tested. (Thinking of your flying bird photography,  Albert )

Albert--I used really quick and dirty sharpening (left the edges too sharp) and denoising on this on PS. A lot more could likely be done with it, as the 18-56 is a really sharp lens.

Messing around with the CL, 90/2.4 Summarit & flashes. I needed to include a colour pop for a weekly theme, although I don't really like them...
