The captions are a riff off Miles Davis who in 1955 had a contractual obligation to Prestige records to record four albums: Cookin’ Steamin’ Workin’ Relaxin’ before he moved to Columbia.

I thought it was something like that.  I’m a Miles fan myself 🙂

Had a bit of excitement at home today when we spotted a Harris Hawk fly across the back of our house (no camera in hand - wouldn't have been quick enough anyway).  He ended up in the trees at the bottom of our field and I heard his tethers rattling so knew he was a captive.  Checked with our local falconry centre and they had lost one a couple of days ago when he got spooked by a loose dog when he was out on a Hawk Walk.  Khan is his name.  Anyway, they arrived to walk the field boundaries, checking the tree line and had almost given up when Laura who was the other end of the field to us got lucky, he was down in some marshy long grass and responded to her whistle.  You can see from Laura's face how happy she was to have him back, a bit skinny but no worse for his adventures.

Resurfacing blacktop.  Needed to be B&W as in color, the workers vests show up too strongly. Had to use a blue filter in post to tone them down.

Thanks David, actually my smile was bigger than Laura's when I spotted her walking back with Khan on her arm, I just fired off a couple of shots then put the camera down, once they were close and Khan was settled I took three quick shots and again put the camera down on the grass.  Poor creature had been through enough the last few days without me pointing something at him, anyway I was too excited to see him.  Plus I got a delivery of wine and chocolates to say thank you,  total win😁.

I’ve been there many times. Pretty good photo. The back-side of The Tetons is even more dramatic.
