For me, sometimes a couple of stops extra makes a difference in my being able to hand hold the camera - particularly indoors in the evenings.  But I know what you mean.  Even at ISO 6400 I’ve found results quite acceptable.  Coming from the film days where even ISO 400 was something to have to think about, times are very different now 🙂 !

Leaving my expensive and bulky Leica products at home when we go to The Highlands in Mid-September.

iPhone 12  Pro Max..............Just hope the virus, and the people  will allow us to go.

I would just take the CL, the 18-56 and spare battery and card. Done.
