I use the 'CL app' and the app's shutter release. The camera is set to on 'drive', A mode, multi-field AF and simply pointed at the bath, focal length 135mm. I sit it the lounge, hidden, although the birds are getting used to me, and just snap away. The app I find to be very good, allowing full control over the cameras settings, except focal length of course. The very best way to proceed is 'dip your toes in the water' and give it a try.

That's interesting Dave. Thank you. I recall when the app was first introduced it fell short of user's expectations and was largely ignored. I haven't downloaded it yet. But I will after reading of your high satisfaction with the aid. Your bird pictures are superb.

Albert I think the compliment was well deserved, it was very well spotted. Any thoughts on borrowing your wife's lipstick and going back to highlight the knot below that very much looks like a pout! Anyhow thanks for making me smile both with the picture and your comment - something I am struggling to do just at the moment. Popular Post Boojay Posted May 30, 2019 Popular Post Share #5796 Posted May 30, 2019 Said goodbye to my beautiful Bertie on Tuesday, took this on his last walk to this spot, he was far too bad on his legs to make it up there in the last few months but it's somewhere he loved to go... lots of tears in our house at the moment but just have to remember how lucky we were to have had him with us for fourteen years. Also a good reminder to me of why I take photo's, sometimes I ask myself the question, but it is a comfort to have so many memories of him on my hard drive, now to make his final album. Jayne, I was greatly saddened to learn of the loss of your elderly pet Bertie. He enjoyed a good life with you in a beautiful part of our green and pleasant land. Like many of our departed pets, personal photographic memories help to ease the pain and help us relive happier times. Bertie will be around without you necessarily being aware. Editing Bertie's album will prove to be a supremely absorbing and nostalgic project. Edited May 30, 2019 by wda 1
