Singapore Chinatown 1979

A few more - these for 1978.  1 of 2.  Scanned with a Nikon LS-5000 scanner in 2011.  Once again - sorry for the poor quality - partly my lack of skill and partly the damage caused by years of heat and humidity in Singapore.  In case anyone is interested in scanning old transparencies, I can recommend both Silverfish and VueScan to help recover colour and reduce visual damage.  I found the latter particularly useful https://www.hamrick.com.

Did you mean Silverfast? That's what I use and it does a fine job. I just wish I still had my Nikon Coolscan 4000.  Wonderful scanner, as is the 5000. I think these images look great.

Indeed.  Silverfast - autocorrect tried to switch that to Silverfish again!  I used that too but in the end I found it easier to go with VueScan.  I think also, with SilverFast you don't need to buy another copy of the software if you change scanners and I did change from a Minolta scanner I used earlier to a Nikon.
