Could you post a link? I can’t open a Twitter post from the forum as I don’t have a Twitter account. Thanks!

Just click the link it should open the survey. I don’t have Twitters either, well not that it shows anyway 😉

Ignore the fact that they don't know how to put negatives into an enlarger the right way up, this survey may be of interest.

Never mend the enlarger, where do I get hold of one of those left-handed Nikons?

Thank you… I know you are being kind and trying to help but I can figure out what a link is and how to use it. I didn’t ask for a direct link just for the hell of it. ;)

For further info this is what I get when I click the link in Andy’s post…

Thanks, I completed it.

Surprised to see questions grouping Ilford and Kentmere films.  I've heard it said that Kentmere is rebranded Ilford but never so suggestively.

John

Ilford went bankrupt, and got split into digital and film divisions.  The Ilford name went to the digital division, but the film side got permission to use the Ilford name for existing film products only.  Kentmere is Ilford by any other name, really.

Not quite correct.  Quote from AP:

"One of the most pivotal moments in its recent history was in 2005. Forced with the prospect of liquidation, due to the rise of digital and falling sales, a group of six Ilford managers took the bold step of buying out the company from the receivers. This effectively saved the factory and Ilford’s film, paper and chemical products, with a new company formed named Harman Technology Ltd. While reduced in size, it has prospered with the growing interest in analogue photography over the past ten years and now exports to over 90 countries.

The company was sold to Pemberstone Ventures Ltd in 2015, and continues to operate from its manufacturing base in Mobberley, producing both Ilford, Kentmere and more recently Harman products".

Took the survey. Only bug I cared about was in Q:12, Reasons to Shoot film

No option available for "to use cameras whose image format and handling do not have a serious digital equivalent" (e.g. in my case, 6x6 cameras (Hassy, Rollei, Mamiya). Which is about 80% of why I shoot film, plus 17.99% "archival negs," 2% my M2-4, and 0.01% the "touchy-feely stuff."

I had to add that in the "Other" box for Q:13. ;)
