Luke_Miller Posted June 10, 2022 Share #1 Posted June 10, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) I use the Sennheiser AVX wireless microphone system with my dedicated video cameras. It has an automatic gain feature which cannot be disabled and requires the host camera to be set to manual gain for best results. Does anyone know if the Leica SL 2 uses manual or auto gain for the microphone input? I see the gain control, but there is no setting for manual vs auto gain. Thanks. LocalHero1953 Posted June 11, 2022 Share #3 Posted June 11, 2022 (edited) I use the SL2-S. Microphone gain can be set from +6db to -12db in db steps, plus 'off', which I assume lets the external mic determine gain. No 'auto' setting. My wireless mic is the Rode Wireless Go, which has manual gain control, but just 0, -12 and -24. Edited June 11, 2022 by LocalHero1953
