Seba66 Posted June 3, 2022 Share #1  Posted June 3, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, I have a very specific question: is there anybody that did use or still use AF-S VR-Nikkor 70-200mm 1:2.8G on SL type-601? If yes which adapter do you recommend? It is just a temporary solution before to budget a native tele lens. Thanks for any advice

Paul2660 Posted June 3, 2022 Share #2  Posted June 3, 2022 I have used it briefly. I used the Novoflex adapter. LET/NIK. Will allow aperture control however its a guess as the ring movement is smooth.  Very solid adapter.  One other note,  I also have the Novoflex Pentax to Nikon adapter. The first one I purchased would not fully mount to the SL2 body or Panasonic S1R. It hit some resistance. Sent it back and received a second one which worked fine.  Paul
Luke_Miller Posted June 3, 2022 Share #3  Posted June 3, 2022 (edited) I use the Metabones adapter https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1569435-REG/metabones_mbnfg_l_bm1_nikon_g_lens_to.html A bit less costly than the Novoflex and mounts tightly to both body and lens. It has the aperture control ring needed for Nikon G Series lenses. I've tried my 70-200 F2.8 with it, but mine is an E Series so no control of aperture. My other G lenses work fine.
