Peters Posted May 19, 2022 Share #1  Posted May 19, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi guys,  Was wondering if anyone has tried using this admittedly rather peculiar combination: M lens > L mount > teleconverter > SL body. Wondering if this was possible and what the results are like - any degradation etc.

tom.w.bn Posted May 19, 2022 Share #4 Â Posted May 19, 2022 The Panasonic teleconverters are made for specific lenses (the 70-200 lenses). I have the Panasonic 70-300. The teleconverters are not meant to be used with this lens (or other lenses). If your can connect it technically, it's still open if the optical performance is ok. beewee Posted May 20, 2022 Share #5 Â Posted May 20, 2022 FYI, L-mount tele-converters and lens adapters are not covered within the L-mount alliance and are not guaranteed to work across L-mount alliance cameras. Only lenses are covered.

jaapv Posted May 21, 2022 Share #7  Posted May 21, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) And which M lenses? All teleconverters are designed to be used with long or at least telecentric lenses. On standard(ish) lenses and wideangles the results are often sub-par.
