Advertisement (gone after registration)

i have set my 3 user profiles with #1 the one i usually use . it is set for raw . many times when i start to use

the camera the user profile has reverted to 0 or default . i have to check the camera every time i use it .

am i doing something wrong , or is this common ?

thanks for your reply . time and date are accurate , and the battery is kept in the camera . the camera doesn't always 

revert to default profile , i just have to check every time i use it .

I've used the customised User Profiles with my M8 for quite a few years and I don't recalling it reverting to 0 without reason.

As far as I recall if you're using a User Profile that you've set up but then change any of the settings (other than shutter speed, aperture, or ISO of course) then the M8 recognises it as a different profile and reverts to 0.  Could this be the cause do you think?

i believe you are correct . any change in the menu , even compensation , and the camera will revert to profile 0 . i just have to check the camera before each use . 

perhaps this is not a bad thing , as i have had the wrong settings , at times , when not checking the camera before going out to photograph .
