Good to know it works on the M11, thanks. Currently the only CV lenses I have are the 50 APO and 75 1.5, and they both are 0.7m lenses. I sold all my M gear a while back and am buying replacements over time. Hopefully some sub-70cm CVs are in my future again

Take the 60mp image, reduce it to 24mp and recheck the sharpness?

The laws of physics still haven’t changed.

Sharpness of the image overall is still independent of the sensor.  The light that falls onto your film or sensor is only influenced by motion and focusing.

And, sure, if you zoom in further than you ever did before, which is when you zoom to pixel level, then, yes, you’ll find that it seems to be different.  However, go back and zoom into your film or M9 images with the same magnification, and there is no difference.

Quite obvious in practice for me. I must multiply shutter speeds by 2 generally. Not a big deal as i kept my M240 and i have cameras with IBIS too.

So! the M11 produces great detail images when used correctly, just like any tool.

yes before I can hold 1/15s ， now the shutter speed must be faster than 1/60s

Yes, but I also dive much deeper into the images to find exceptional richness of detail - that's what the higher MP sensor is all about. And don't forget the fantastic dynamic range. You can also reduce the M11 to 36 MP or 18 MP if you want to use it like an M10-R or M10-P...it's your choice!

There are nearly 3x more pixels so that makes some sense. As I said though, take an image at 60mp, shrink it to 24 and see if it is any different to a 24mp image. I bet it won't be!
