As you may know; the tropical sun is brutal ; more specially at noon, as I mentioned it intentionally (the sun was above). Somehow, I do like the contrast and if I wanted to lighten the shot, I would have lost much details in the rest of the picture; more specially the face and hands. The suede jacket gave me most of the trouble for the conversion.It was beige and very difficult to render in BW! Cuba is not far from here (about 90 miles from Key West where Hemingway had his home and his cats), and we are in the same sea area.
