Clearly all the S glass we have will not be forgotten. As they say in Russia, the stump will still 🔥 on our street too. Coming back to the S lenses at fateful moments makes it clear how æternal the images are. It’s worth it just to make sure you have the photos of your kids with S through all the times together. I’m super happy I have all the S lenses and am looking forward to seeing what Leica does to make them shine in the future. Meanwhile they are perfect with the 007. I suppose it could be, but one great thing about the S system is the finely tuned colors which is also probably desirable to pros shooting S. I’d bet they don’t offer a Monochrom in the S it would be an uber-niche product in an already tiny niche system. IMHO.
