Yes I sent the M10M to Leica and when I got it back 6 weeks later it seemed better for now, but unfortunately it started again. Then I bought an M10R and it also crashes every now and then. And now I read that this also happens with the M11 from time to time. Seems to be a one-system problem. I always hoped that this would eventually be solved via firmware update, but unfortunately they can't seem to get a handle on it.

Visoflex 020 does not work with M11. I have not heard of any issues caused by using Visoflex 2 on M11.

Sounds like they put a band-aid on the problem, but never really fixed it, and it is happening with multiple bodies, maybe it's the Visoflex that needs repair or replacement.  They should give you a loaner, so you can find out if it's your cameras, or the VISOFLEX.

Because of my camera crashes with the M10M and M10R, it was also a consideration to switch to the M11, so I also followed the M11 forum. And there I read in two posts about crashes, but can't tell if it was related to the new EVF or not.
I come from Canon to Sony to Leica and Hasselblad X1D, but had no crashes with these other systems. I love my Leicas and especially the Leica lenses, but I wish my emotions would go back more to photography and less to camera problems.

Yes, my experience is that for me these crashes only happen when I use my M10's in Live View mode together with the EVF and turn off the camera between photos to save power. I have used a new EVF020 but unfortunately the same problem, so I still hope that this could be solved via firmware update or with the new EVF of the M11.
