Hi there,

a local dealer is currently offering the mentioned camera, 99% new, asking for 8400€

is this still a half way good price?

i am thinking of grabbing this.

If a previous owner has had the finder upgrade, the shutter seals updated, a general CLA and has left all of the documentation, then it’s only twice the price it should be. I bought one in 2012 for $1200 usd, had all of the above work plus swapped out the frame selector, the rewind switch for the BP MP version and added a black dot. Sold it in 2018 for $2500 usd. It a nice camera but if you are going to buy it, use it.

the sub limited edition of the millennium edition, only sold on the japanese market

The problem is that a one way ticket for 2012 costs 7600$. 
 

For 2018 it’s a bit cheaper; only 6400$.
