There are far more options both in supplied presets or to go your own way in Silver Efex Pro, part of the Nik Collection now sold by DxO. As there are so many variations of what a platinum looks like you can finalise your own interpretation and make a preset of it, although this may still need tweaking according to the image you are working on. As far as I know there are no one click perfect solutions other than working at post processing, a simple sepia effect may work for one image but be too strong for another.

I prefer a warm tone for my black and whites as routine, which I add in SFX as part of my standard pp..
