Sold all my Canon R5s and all canon lens to go Leica M.  Now I own two Ms and still have to shoot my grandchildren's sporting events.  These shots are with the M11 using the Visoflex II and a 300mm f/4 Tele-Elmar circa 1965

Love shooting formal and informal portraits of the grandkids.  This one is with the M11 and 50mm summilux after the ballet.

M11 + 28mm Elmarit

The camera got pretty heavily splashed as the boys were jumping into the river, and then one of the little kids (maybe 8 years old) took the camera and started photographing his mates. Thought I was going to lose it into the drink at one point but luckily it survived.

Great shot👏

Shooting sports with the M11 took me back to early days of shooting my children playing soccer with a Nikon film camera and Manuel focus 400mm.  It took a little getting used to.  I shoot both raw and jpeg in B&W, so in the Visoflex II with red peaking I felt it help me nail focus much of the time.  I do have a Nikor 300mm with an M adapter that I have used for other occasions and that's a little harder to get focus on.  All this being said, the size and feel of the M11 makes me feel like I am shooting again.

But it looks like Massachusetts . . .

I know... I was referring to Scott's profile. Bad joke, sorry. Those photos were triggering my memory that time ago, in winter 2003 or 2004, there was a snow in Jerusalem, which was WOW-event for Israel weather history.

APO 75 frustratingly front-focused on this picture even though I took great care (via Live View) to make sure I was focused on the handgun to catch the shell ejection at 1/250. The picture is still interesting, but it could have been better.
