How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Files” and s

I've got to say I think the photograph here lies somewhere in between the cropped and uncropped versions. Just an idea.

Not sure, I quite like the uncropped, but it lacks a primary point of interest - the gentleman sitting there smoking is a great second subject to keep the viewer in, but something to initially catch the viewers attention on the other side of the image, in front of the stairs would have made this a great shot.

That second picture is absolutely phenomenal, what a great moment, super well composed, excellent tonal distribution, just an all out great job! Like the last one too.

Context and symbolism is everything, there’s two signs on the left saying ‘Park’ and a guy ‘parked’ sitting smoking a cigar, are any more clues needed?

Thank you, that's really kind of you to say! New York is (of course) a great place to be for street. I haven't got around to looking through all the pics yet but will post one or two more. :)
