I have this artifact with the light creating different colors in between branches at harsh sunlight. What is this effect called?

No editing of the raw file whatsoever. Shot with a Voigtländer 28mm f2 Ultron 2.

What RAW converter are you using? This is a very strange effect that I haven't seen before and my best guess would be these are artefacts caused by an AI based RAW converter trying to optimise dynamic range, highlight recovery and details...

I'm totally impressed with the fabulous detail that the M11 allows - it's superb!

What's the collective name for a group of Lifeguard Towers? A Baywatch of lifeguard towers perhaps? 😆

Sorry for late reply, I tried out Capture one 22 and it produced the same result. Altough my routine is PhotoNinja which I find yeilds most resolution when compared to LR and C1, also tried Adobe RAW converter.

This is a sidetrack of the issue but I've tried out most raw converters out there and PhotoNinja seems to produce highest amount of microcontrast/microdetail thus resolution out of the other applications I tried out, such as Light Room (latest), Capture One (v 22) and Adobe Raw. Why is I rarely see any discussion about Raw software and comparisons between them regarding sharpness/detail output? Let the image organization topic aside, for that I can agree that LR or C1 is the best...

Appreciate any info regarding use of PhotoNinja and results people might have compared to LR/C1.

Wow that is bizarre. Do you have a DNG file you're willing to share via PM?

I'm only using LR, so I can't help with PhotoNinja :(

M11+Noctilux 50/0.95.
We met Yachak Chije in Tsokarpu village, Mechuka, as she climbed up the path to her house on the hill. She stopped to say hello and invited us to her house. We sat around the central stove, Gudi and I sipped hot water from a cup, Baro and Piliya chose salted milk, we chatted and waited for the corn cobs to be done. I took a few pictures.
