No I haven't tried 850nm. I would have to order one but I'm not keen on that if I don't know how it works on a M11, since my location is too remote to return a filter.

These exposures were around 8 seconds at f/5.6, ISO 64.

Walk in the woods and suddenly there was a very brief cloud break giving some nice light, wish i made a better composition but the light turned back to boring almost immediately after this shot. Damn clouds!

A small show opened on a  very cold night at the Leica Store Boston:

but the show was a set of elegant studio portraits of local community leaders, and the subjects, their families and their friends swelled the audience. 

There was much recursive photography.

It was nice to get out even on a cold evening.  Great to see so many people out.
