Looks like I got an expensive case of G.A.S I think it is pretty well designed and implemented but adds extra bulk (does not fit in most of my camera bags) and normally I travel to photography gigs on foot/public transport so I travel as light as possible. I'll probably sell it (but whenever I dig it out with that in mind I end up deciding to keep it for a while ) Â there is someone in NY that want to by one. DM if you want me to pass the infos. I don't use the grip much, but it is useful when the camera wants the extra power for video.

Thanks Photoworks - I live in the European Union and would not like the hassle of customs paperwork for USAÂ - also not sure if Forum rules allow this type of discussion, but thanks anyway for the suggestion! No continues power for time-lapse and Long video. + 2nd battery gives camera more power allowing you to overcome power limitation in 4K and Burst shooting. + no more power error when using Sigma and Panasonic Lenses that require more power. - the grip shutter Botton has a total different feel and sound from the camera one. - the contact covers get easily lost even when there is a place to store them.   all and all the benefits are limited. Ok, that was a hell of a photographer that tested the battery extension! I have never heard such a b…. before. the powermangement of this camera needs to be fixed! sirously! you cannot have the camera shooting for several days! If you connect to usbc the battery in the camera drains! i needed to do a Timelapse from dust till dawn and had to take out the battery and replace. now that is tricky because you touch the camera. But try this on a slider! i came to the conclusion that the system is useless for long exposures. And there the Powermangement is a pain. i wish we could address that in a firmware update! i came from canon and I never had really sharp lenses. now I have sharp lenses but my camera is off, when I need her. I am disappointed with the beta test. these are obvious things. no rocket science. i spend 4 nights figuring this out.  and now I am doing the Timelapse’s with a Sony. or with a canon. less sharp but not that of a bumpy timelapse.  So no i would not buy the handgrip. L- bracket will do fine.
