Thanks for the heads-up.  Much as I enjoy this thread and will continue to follow it, I can find plenty of less litigious subject matter to shoot.

I think this all only becomes an issue if you go on to sell your photograph.. don't stop, Louis would be upset.  Honestly I wouldn't waste a photo on most of the Graffiti I see in my home town, would rather give bucket of water, scrubbing brushes, soap or thinners to the so called artists😀.  Four letter words often loom large.

Jayne, you said what I think better than I could express it myself.  Lately I've passed through places in some of the most remote areas where not even centuries-old houses of worship nor the smallest corners of road sign have been spared.  Even an unlit passageway under an unfinished bridge on an unfinished highway in the middle of nowhere was filled edge to edge with scribble, political dogma, and obscenities.  I see next to nothing that comes close to the walls of Wynwood.

To keep this post "legal," one more from Astorga I suspect the creators wouldn't mind me sharing:

I often shot murals when the artist was present. In all cases, they were more flattered to see their work photographed than being bothered! You can't sell the photo of a wall painting, anyway! 😂

Rob, you shot above is a beauty, continue my friend, but stay safe. (Wynwood is becoming boring too!) 😉

Well that one thankfully  is a beauty Rob, and Louis your examples from Wynwood are a joy.

It seems every city I visit with little exception has fallen victim to it.. some would excuse it by labelling it "social commentary" - NO, it's just pure bloody vandalism.

Poor old Bellini - Naples an example.
