fernando_b Posted September 6, 2007 Share #2 Posted September 6, 2007 Can't believe you took this with an M8. Excellent! Do you plan to compete with the Birdman, the other Doug loved by us forum members? Fernando.

stuny Posted September 6, 2007 Share #4 Posted September 6, 2007 Doug - I know I commented on this yesterday -- I must have clicked the wrong button. superb detail, color, "crop" selective focus and bokeh. Your signature is far less obtrusive here than on a People post from yesterday.

wizard Posted September 6, 2007 Share #6 Posted September 6, 2007 What a perfect shot! Simply superb. Certainly not taken with an M8?! If yes, I'd be interested in what lens was used (didn't know you could couple 400mm+ lenses to an M8 ). Regards, Andy

dougdarter Posted September 7, 2007 Author Share #10 Posted September 7, 2007 Thanks to all who have replied. No, it's not an m8 capture. I could have said it was taken with a Visio 3 and a 200mm telyt, but some wag would have checked the exif. I just uploaded a wildlife pic for the fun of it. It was captured using a Canon 1DIIn, and a Canon 300mmL. I'm going to have fun trying to get this shot with a Leica and a 135mm. Here are a couple more:
