I use this combo a lot. Not the most compact system but the most useful at all. Normally with TriX400, adding a ND x3 filter I can work at 1.4 for the majority of the shots still having a wonderful bokeh. In the late afternoon you can still have room to take fast shots. With 100 ISO film you always have margins to take your shots, if trained enough to long shutter speed like 1/15 or 1/8 free hand

That looks in remarkably good condition for a 2003 MP. Did you have the shutter release painted black? My 2003 MP has a is chrome shutter release.
