V23 Posted October 28, 2021 Share #1 Posted October 28, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am planning to purchase following SD card ‘SanDisk Extreme Pro 32GB SDHC UHS-II - 300MB/s’ for my new Leica SL2-S, product description talks a lot about video capacity but not too much about photos. Generally I do not do video, but might try it in the future. Would anyone of you who is using this SD card in SL2-S could comment on your experience please (or any other suggestion would be welcome). Many thanks.

LocalHero1953 Posted October 28, 2021 Share #2 Posted October 28, 2021 I have two 128Gb versions of this card - no problems for photos or video in a year of use.
Malabito Posted October 28, 2021 Share #3 Posted October 28, 2021 I have the Kingston Canvas React Plus Card SD 128GB UHS-II, and used other Kingston Canvas React cards, (Compact flash when i had the canon 5d mark 4) and never had an issue with them. They cost half the price of sandisk and work perfectly. I cant say how reliable are the sds, since i only used them for a couple of weeks, but the compact flash were used extensively, i shot perhaps 70k images in a period of 3 to 4 months for an assignment and they never even glitched once. Given my experience with the compact flash cards i decided to buy the sds and save some $$$ over the sandisk.

Yes. And it's considerably less expensive than the competition.
beewee Posted November 1, 2021 Share #7 Posted November 1, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Another thumbs up for the Kingston React Plus. I’ve been using my original 256GB card since earlier this year and haven’t had a problem. I just picked up a second one this past weekend for extra capacity for extended time lapses.
