cpclee Posted October 25, 2021 Share #1 Posted October 25, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) My new SanDisk 64GB Extreme PRO UHS-I SDXC sticks a bit in my CL. It won't eject with a simple push but can be retrieved if I pinch with my nails. Is this a common problem for this card? My old 16gb SanDisk Ultra doesn't have this problem. Both cards work on my SL, so this could just be a small tolerance mismatch?
Advertisement Posted October 25, 2021 Posted October 25, 2021 Hi cpclee, Take a look here SanDisk Extreme Pro card getting stuck in CL. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
cpclee Posted October 25, 2021 Author Share #2 Posted October 25, 2021 Seems the side edges of the card has some roughness. Once I rubbed off the roughness the card works fine!
Louis Posted October 25, 2021 Share #3 Posted October 25, 2021 I also had much trouble with SanDisk; after a few use in my computer, the connections were all screwed up. Now, I am using Lexar and am very satisfied with them.

lct Posted October 26, 2021 Share #5 Posted October 26, 2021 Never got sticking issues with my Sandisk Extreme pro 64GB 170 Mo/s. Same with the previous 95 Mo/s. My favorite cards on Leica and Sony cameras so far. FWIW.
thedruid Posted October 26, 2021 Share #6 Posted October 26, 2021 This happened to me a few months ago, the top of the SD card eventually became stuck inside and in trying to remove the card that piece broke off. I had to send the CL to Leica service to remove the piece of the SD card...it cost me $220 plus shipping + insurance both ways.
