Advertisement Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 Hi ravinj, Take a look here Q2M IBIS works at only 1/50th and slower?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!

No it does not, at least not the part about turning it off until needed. Edited October 27, 2021 by hdmesa
ravinj Posted October 28, 2021 Share #23 Posted October 28, 2021 (edited) For the few forum members who may want to maximize IQ from Q2 (and a good reason to use the Auto setting for OIS, rather an On): Edited October 28, 2021 by ravinj

I wonder why they do not recommend turning OIS off on SL 24-90? Is there something different in the compact design of Q's lens? Has anyone ever seen image degradation on Leica Q/Q2/Q2M because of OIS being on at speeds above 1/60? Edited October 30, 2021 by SrMi
mikegml Posted November 4, 2021 Share #25 Posted November 4, 2021 Has anyone actually tested to see if IS 'always on' effects the image at higher speeds than 60s? I assume leica has otherwise they wouldn't offer the option of on or off or auto?
