Does anyone tried tethering with SL2 and Lightroom after updating firmware to 3.0? I haven't use it for a while, but I need to scan some negatives and it just doesn't work. I tried restarting everything including computer, lightroom, camera, installing new firmware, even though I had the latest version, but it doesn't work. Have no idea what else to try...

Maybe a bug in Lightroom?! There was a question in the German forum before FW 3.0 was available:

Maybe. I used it and it worked in the April with the previous SL2 firmware and whatever LrC version was the actual at that moment.

unfortunately tethered shooting no longer works after the 3.0 firmware upgrade, downgrading is also not possible

I started using C1 just for the tethering and then I import the photos into Lightroom after the session.

I'm running the latest firmware on my SL2-S, the latest Lightroom, and the new MacOS and tethering is working. I did have to reinstall the LeicaTethered.lrplugin it seems like the LRC upgrade lost that. Maybe verify the Leica plugin is  running in Lightroom...
