I assume these are hard to find now. I believe that there were several hundred of the APO Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH “LHSA Edition Lenses
in SILVER produced a few years ago.
I have canvassed many of my known vendors and the Forum Classifieds, but so far, there are none to be found.
Perhaps someone out there might know of an available example and How Many were produced?

Please MESSAGE me if You may have seen one listed for sale anywhere, thanks.

You just missed this one https://www.schouten-select.com/index.php/products/leica/leica-m-mount/leica-m-mount-lenses/leica-50mm-f2-apo-summicron-m-asph-lhsa-silver-box-3327.html, but this dealer seems to have them quite regularly. Suggest you leave your details with them.

They were commissioned by @derleicamanof this Forum for the LHSA.

Leica Historica will also soon launch a 50 pcs limited edition 50 APO in silver chrome similar to the LHSA version, but can only be purchased by Leica Historica members...

Bought by an LUF member, happily enjoying it now 😊

The lens is not hard to find. Neither in silver nor in BP. All you need is to be willing to spend about 18-20k (as of September 2021). If you are, I can find you one in less than 24 hours.

I'm pretty sure it will trade around 23/24k by the end of the year.

If you'd like to send me a Private Message with info about a lens that I can view and then discuss, then we can continue,
but i will not discuss business matters on an open forum, thanks.

This is splendid. Thank You for the information. Are these offered in some particular place to LHSA members or does the LHSA promote special editions on the LHSA home page when they are made available?  I am a recent LHSA member.

There is a difference between LHSA and Leica Historica, these are two different organizations. This lens is offered by Leica Historica and only 50 will be produced which could only be bought by Historica members. I have reserved one and I am sure these will pop up later with a much higher price tag...

A silver copy of the LHSA is available at Fotopia in Hong Kong FYI: https://www.fotopia.com.hk/#!product/showAjax/216/Leica Summilux-M 50mm F1.4 ASPH - Silver / E43 / LHSA

The price isn’t listed however (you have to call). This is a legitimate business. I bought my 50mm Noctilux 1.0 from Gilbert.

Erik

Thank You, I appreciate that info. They have an earlier LHSA 1.4,  I am looking for the more recent 2.0 LHSA release, but thank you for your sincerity and endorsement of them.
