I hate to be that guy, but I'm a working photographer that recently switched to Leica SL system. I was planing to upgrade my SL to the SL2 and Leica lens (currently I'm using Lumix S series lens), but these minor issues are crucial to my workflow. It's a shame such basic features present on all the other brands are missing on Leica. I expected being able to have options for achieving my results rather than be told by some Leica fan that I should just "buy a Leica flash" since it is really not suited to my work. I really, really want to like Leica, but things keeps adding up. I buy a camera to make my life easier, not difficult.

was there a question?

For AD600pro you need the X-Pro II (L) trigger. While HSS is working, the TTL is very bad results.

Also Godox strobes and speedlight work with the xpro 2 L trigger.

ttl works and hss too.

check it out

Sorry my late reply.

I got the X-Pro II, but HSS is not working. Am I missing something?

Thank you!

Just checked, my X-Pro II is updated (v 1.4), but my AD400Pro is outdated (v 1.3). Updating Godox hardware is a pain with my Macbook, but this must be the reason is not working the HSS. I'll find a way to address that, thank you!

Do your Xpro II is Leica version? My HSS work as intended with AD100Pro, AD300Pro and AD600Pro. Are you connecting with non-HSS such as AD600BM?

Yes, is the L (Leica) version. I'm flashing the AD400Pro. I'll have to update and try again to see if it works.

Yes, I found that it depends on the usbc cable you use. Some cable work better then other.
if you know somebody that has a pc, maybe that make the process less painfull.
but without the formalste update it does not work.
I checked yesterday and even ttl works now perfectly ….

Cheers

Thanks for checking. I'll definitely find a way to perform this update. 👍
