That’s very true @Bobitybob

Leica users have all this profile stuff very easy with the luxury of a camera that natively shoots DNG

For pretty much every other brand (maybe not some Olympus models? Can’t remember) you’ll need to start off with DNG convertor

Also because of the above, Leica also has the embedded profile - but other raw formats converted to DNG won’t, they’ll just have ‘adobe standard’

There’s a nerdy delight in opening a text editor, pasting and writing some code into it and making a profile from it.. but for final tweaks and seeing what you’re getting DNG Profile Editor is very useful

FWIW: DNG is also used at least by Pentax, Ricoh, Zeiss ZX1, Smartphones, and DJI drones
