Ralle196608 Posted August 17, 2021 Share #2 Posted August 17, 2021 I think not. With my Q2 the Lens aperture values are the same values in the evf. Welcome, dear visitor! Casey Jefferson Posted August 19, 2021 Share #4 Posted August 19, 2021 It's probably aperture ring sensor became inaccurate, since the ring doesn't actually coupled with the mechanism.

BTW, your question is pretty interesting…e.g. in macro mode I can’t set the aperture (using aperture ring) less than f/2.8… Rotating aperture ring further (above f2.8) I see that camera display shows correct aperture value on the screen: f/4, f/5.6, f/8 etc. Edited August 19, 2021 by AlexKirk

Stuart Richardson Posted August 19, 2021 Share #12 Posted August 19, 2021 (edited) In your picture above, you have exposure compensation set to +1 stop. Is that affecting it? I guess it should not, but you might as well try. I would also turn off auto ISO and "A" mode just to check, and see if it still does it. Tried that, but doesn't change anything about wrong f-indication.
Stuart Richardson Posted August 19, 2021 Share #15 Posted August 19, 2021 Sounds like a good idea to call Leica Customer Service and see what they have to say...the people at the factory in Wetzlar tend to be helpful.

Check your manual -- macro mode is limited to f/2.8. Have you tried a camera reset for your f/8 vs f/9 issue?

Domip Posted August 20, 2021 Author Share #18 Posted August 20, 2021 I wrote a mail yesterday to customer.care@leica-camera.com, as we don't have a Leica distributor in Belgium (just shops). They opened my mail this morning, but didn't answer until now... maybe they have a lot to think about it ?
Stuart Richardson Posted August 20, 2021 Share #19 Posted August 20, 2021 (edited) I find it is always better to call...put a voice and personality to the problem. Plus they respond right away. We also do not have anything in Iceland...I just call the customer service at the headquarters in Germany. They speak German and English (and likely some speak French too). Even if they cannot answer right away, they typically are quite helpful and responsive that way. At least that has been my experience. Domip Posted September 17, 2021 Author Share #20 Posted September 17, 2021 After a roundtrip to Wetzlar, they fixed the problem.
