BJohn Posted July 16, 2021 Share #1 Posted July 16, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does any one have a solution for charging the Leica SL Battery (BC-SCL 4) with 12-volt only? I couldn't find one and started thinking about a potential inverter for our van.

beewee Posted July 16, 2021 Share #6 Posted July 16, 2021 Not sure about the Nitecore SL battery charger but the Nitecore M10 battery charger has a design flaw where, after fully charging the battery, instead of just stopping and leaving the battery as is and reporting that it is fully charged, the charger would start discharging the battery. So if you left the battery in the charger after it’s fully charged for an extended period, it will just discharge the battery completely.
beewee Posted July 16, 2021 Share #7 Posted July 16, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have an Omni 20+ which can provide power for USB-A, USB-C, AC, and DC output, plus Qi wireless charging too. You can plug your Leica charger directly into the AC outlet. It works well and has a 20000 mAh capacity. Also works for phones, tablets, and laptops with up to 100 watt output.

RoySmith Posted July 17, 2021 Share #10 Posted July 17, 2021 The Nitecore ULSL requires an input of DC 5V/2000mA so any USB outlet in the car that outputs 2 Amps will provide power to the Nitecore ULSL charger.
