Yes, I would................If only to be able to get a .58 viewfinder into more of my M's. Leather covering options, engraving, black paint / black chrome finish or other cosmetics I could not care less about. It would be so good if Leica would offer a sensor / processor upgrade programme to existing cameras but that's extremely unlikely to ever happen. I would really like to have an .85 viewfinder option; I pulled out my old M6 w/.85 the other day to dust it off and after taking a look through the finder it reminded how wonderful an .85 Finder is with a 50mm lens. It's a shame digital cameras are limited in the long-run by the sensor/processor. My M3 with Tri-X is exactly the same today as it was 66 years ago. In addition to special engraving and leather options, You could choose silver, black paint, black chrome, and different viewfinder options, as well as frame lever (or not) Would be awesome to see them do this again and provide further customizations like: 1. screen (less) 2. button color configuration (for example - red white blue) 3. different color dots (a few options) 4.
