I’m trying to exchange the lens for another one. The sensor is clean using my 50mm Summilux.

The instructions for Dust Detection are to stop down to the largest (“f/16 or f/22”), defocus and take a photo of something with no detail (I shot the sky).

I ran Dust Detection again. If I only stop down to f/16 the specks are not visible. If I stop down one or two clicks more (the lens goes to f/22), the specs are visible again. The Summilux only stops down to f/16 and the specks are not visible.

I've the chrome version, not a single moment I thought of getting a lens hood, unless a matching chrome silver one comes along.

I really love a black hood on a silver lens.
My M10 is silver and black too!

I hope this is allowed. I've started a group on Flickr for this lens, as there wasn't one, so I invite everyone to join and add their images. I just bought this lens so will add some images here soon, too. The group is https://www.flickr.com/groups/voigtlander28ultronii/

Thanks all!

I’ve cleaned the rear element with no change. Seems to be internal dust.

Internal dust will never ever cause such clearly defined spots on the output image. You'd be surprised how much internal dust may accumulate in any given lens before you would even have a chance to notice it. Large amounts of internal dust will cause a certain reduction in contrast, but that is hard to detect as well, since you would need a dust-free lens of the same type to compare with.

Thanks.  It is dust on the sensor, not visible at f16, only at f/22.
