RoySmith Posted December 16, 2021 Share #21 Posted December 16, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) 4 in total, 2 for the Q2 and 2 for the SL. Rarely need more than the one in the camera as I’m a selective, lower volume kind of photographer. I bought one from eBay from a chap in Toronto, and the other extra from the dealer. Advertisement Posted December 16, 2021 Posted December 16, 2021 Hi RoySmith, Take a look here Q2 Batteries, how many?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
F_Stop Posted February 18, 2022 Share #22 Posted February 18, 2022 So far, one battery has been adequate; however, I do have one spare (I negotiated to have a spare OEM battery included in the purchase of the Q2 for free). Also - hi everyone! New to the forum and the world of Leica.

liggy Posted February 19, 2022 Share #24 Posted February 19, 2022 One spare so far has been more than enough. Battery life is pretty good on the Q2. Then again at $285/battery it had better be. 😛
Marc B-C Posted February 19, 2022 Share #25 Posted February 19, 2022 One in the camera and one spare. Rotated.
Dave in Wales Posted February 24, 2022 Share #26 Posted February 24, 2022 No spare, here. I normally use aftermarket spares, but can't find one for the Q2.

But yes, the nitecore charger could be an alternative.
vedivv Posted February 26, 2022 Share #31 Posted February 26, 2022 I bought two extra spares, but have never depleted two fully charged batteries after extensive use. Highly recommend the Nitecore charger. Bought nitecore charger as well. It annoys me a little that it costs more than Nitecore Canon/Sony chargers; cannot think of any good reasons other than screwing Leica users. Nitecore charge is slower and does not charge to 100%, but that's better for battery longevity. Never needed that little extra juice from the factory charger. It is not much larger than a battery, and I carry a power bank for my phone anyways. And the USB plug is much more universal than power plug when you travel.
