From my window without opening the glass and without tripods with TL2+Elmar 135, F4. Name of the bird in Spain "Verderon", is a song bird. (Being manual focus, I think the focus was lowered a bit). (Photo cropped from the Original).

This was taken on a TL2 using the 35mm f3,5 Summaron.  This lens is regarded as being sharp in the center and soft in the corners. with rather heavy vignetting and the chromatic aberrations.  However as the TL2 is using the middle of the frame these effects are minimised.  This was taken in the recent March snow.

Looking at the leaf at base right, that is sharper than the bird. Perhaps the bird is closer to you than the minimum focus distance?

I'm not sure why we don't see more activity from CL owners, and to be honest, but I too forget to put anything on here.  I returned from Japan a few weeks ago after spending a couple of weeks on a shoot there. Here are some CL images that I can post.

Then I got back, repacked and headed to San Francisco for a shoot.  I love to walk around this city when not working.   I always shoot other bodies but the CL never fails to impress.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I've been traveling and not checking in on forums.  All the posted Japan photos, with my CL, were taken with the VARIO-ELMAR-TL 1:3.5-5.6/18-56 ASPH.
