Herr Barnack Posted May 12, 2021 Share #4  Posted May 12, 2021 (edited) When purchasing this lens, be sure to order the Noctilux 75mm Connoisseur's Edition. It costs an additional $1000 USD but it comes with this must have accessory: https://www.amazon.com/Beautural-Portable-Adjustable-Protection-Effectively/dp/B01NAQD0KD/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=sweater+pill+shaver&qid=1620840184&sr=8-5 Edited May 12, 2021 by Herr Barnack
Capuccino-Muffin Posted May 12, 2021 Share #5  Posted May 12, 2021 (edited) I’ve had a nikon 50 1.4D fall into a lake. emptied the water, dipped it in rice for a few days. Still works fine today, and looks like that noctilux. The little dots on the element is a sign that a lens got filled with water. Even if not 100% true, just go by this rule and you will Avoid a lens with a shady history. Edited May 12, 2021 by Capuccino-Muffin
