I know this is an old thread but a lot of what this guy says is just opinion and to be honest a lot of it is rubbish.

His advice is relevant to the way he likes to shoot and to his subjects and genres. e.g. he advises never going below shutter speeds of 1/125 sec as this should never be needed - that's gonna eliminate the possibility of implying movement in images. Silly man.............
