Digilux 2 battery

Hello All,

I’m looking for batteries for my Digilux 2 camera. Possibly someone may the battery at home and not using it or would someone know of a third party selling this battery? Original Leica battery MODEL #: BP-DC1-U.

Try searching for batteries for the DMC LC-1 which is the Panasonic version of the Digilux 2.  There were some listed on UK ebay recently, I think from Germany.

Apparently they’re gone. The UK site is a good idea. I’ll keep looking... Thanks.

Found several on the Amazon UK web site

Same battery for Digilux 1 and Digilux 3 I believe (as well as the Panasonic mentioned above).

That’s interesting as I’ve just looked and they say they have 10 available.  The seller is listed as akku.land, you could do a general web search as they may have a web site as well as selling on ebay.

Living in Belgium I usually buy from Amazon Germany or from eBay Germany. Several sellers sell both on Amazon and eBay. It's always good to compare the prices for the battery plus the shipping that may vary for the same seller. Last month I was able to buy an additional 4 (twice 2) batteries through eBay Germany. They were shipped by DHL (Deutsche Post) and the packaging was showing the correct labelling needed when shipping Li-ion batteries according to the Dangerous Goods Rules.
